Founder, Director of Recruiting & Training, Coach

Over 15 years of coaching experience. Founded Jr Lions FH in 2011, and Omega FH Club in 2016, out of sheer love of the game. Jr Lions grew from 30 players to 150 in 1 year, expanding to meet the community’s hockey needs. The 100% volunteer organization continues to thrive today! A USA FH Level 1 Coach, USA FH Indoor Umpire Certification, and 3x USA FH Nexus Coach while coaching all ages for Omega FH Club. 

At North Hunterdon coaching, 2x State Champ, 4x Sectional Champ, 2x HWS Champ the past 7 years. 

Was recently name to the 2026 USAFH Masters World Cup as an alternate. 

Played for Lock Haven University (many years ago), 2x National Champion, 3x Conference Champion, 2x All Conference, and All American and named as the Charlotte E Smith MVP her senior team. In her spare time, she practices stick skills in her basement, plays golf poorly, loves to go out to eat, and would do anything to hang out outside with friends, family, or solo. 

Coach Olivia Lopes

Director of Training & Coach

With over a decade of coaching experience and a decorated playing career, Coach Lopes brings elite-level knowledge, leadership, and dedication to the field. Currently coaching at Ridge High School and Omega Field Hockey Club, she competes internationally with USA Masters Field Hockey, earning a silver medal at the 2023 Pan American Games and representing the U.S. at the 2024 World Cup in South Africa and will represent the U.S. at the 2026 World Cup in Rotterdam, Netherlands. A Kean University standout, she was honored with the prestigious D’Angola Award, named an NFHCA First Team All-American, and served as team captain and MVP. Her playing career includes national and international tournaments across the U.S., Europe, and the Caribbean. Coach Lopes is committed to developing strong, skilled athletes on and off the field.

Coach Cliff Odendo

Coach

Cliff Odendo brings decades of international playing and coaching experience. A former captain of the Kenyan National Team, Odendo played over 200 games and competed professionally in Italy from 1997–2007. He was a three-time MVP in the Kenyan Hockey League and the 1997 MVP of the African Club Championship. Odendo has medaled at the Africa Cup and Olympic Qualifiers and won the Italian Indoor Championship with CUS-Bologna in 2010. As a USA Field Hockey Level 2 Certified Coach, he has coached internationally, led teams with Omega FHC, and helped guide Kean University to multiple NCAA appearances, including a Final Four run in his 11 years coaching for the Cougars.
